Jeff Thornton is the CEO of Thornton Consulting, Inc.
Thornton was born the youngest of six (6) children to Captain Robert and Dina Thornton and raised in Alamogordo, NM. He comes from an Air Force family and played in organized football from the 7th grade through the end of his college career. He had signs of becoming an entrepreneur as a kid by making skateboard wax for local skaters in his community.
Thornton attended Alamogordo High School and went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics for New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, NM in 2011.
After graduation from college in 2011 Thornton went to work for Los Alamos National Laboratory as a software engineer. Through his experience working with the government he decided that this wasn’t a path he wanted to follow.
In 2012, Jeff was hired to work for SAP America and relocated to Newtown Square, PA. Thornton excelled in his career at SAP. He was awarded the top consultant and was invited to the prestigious SAP Winners Circle.
In 2015, Jeff founded Thornton Consulting, Inc; a tech focused software development company specializing in EH&S. He wanted to take a shot at becoming an entrepreneur after realizing he wanted more. He worked with the top Fortune 500 companies across several industries with a focus on Oil & Gas.
In November 2016, Jeff decided he wanted to focus on a field he was more passionate about and shifted his company from consulting to app development & digital marketing. He hired his business coach Carter Thomas, owner of Bluecloud Solutions based in San Francisco, to help guide him in his new ventures. Jeff is now focused on creating apps and digital products for the Health and Fitness industry.
