About Me: (Long Version)
My name is Skyler Irvine, and I am a serial entrepreneur, investor, and active CEO of RenzlerMedia, the premiere social media agency and content production studio in Phoenix, Arizona. We help clients create awesome social media content, produce and distribute podcasts, and build memorable brands online.
I have been building businesses since I was 24 years old and was fired from my only corporate job. As a business owner, I have always been obsessed with efficiency and maximizing the value of every dollar I spend. To me, content marketing for your personal brand or business is a no-brainer. I do not believe in this strategy because I own a social media agency; I started my social media agency because of how much I believe this.
My first business was buying foreclosed homes and turning them into occupied rentals for my own portfolio. Shortly after, banks stopped lending to me, so I pivoted to private hard money lending with shorter investment periods. As the market recovered, I shifted from my real estate investing business into retail real estate by helping others buy and sell homes.
I realized that there was a value in marketing with Facebook. So I used the free tools without changing my marketing budgets. In 2015, I published my first book on this very topic: How To Leverage Your Real Estate Business With Facebook.
In 2016, I left the real estate business and spent one full year making videos on Youtube. I wanted to everything I could about video production and how to maximize video content for social media marketing. In 2017 I launched my podcast simply because I could not get anyone else to start one. I knew there was value in podcasting, but unfortunately, there was no data to back this up. I was unsuccessfully pitching to prospective clients that they should create a podcast for their business. So I decided to create my own podcast and learn everything there is to know about them.
I am now the host of Arizona’s #1 business and marketing podcast, The SKYLER IRVINE Show, where I interview the top executives, athletes, influencers, entrepreneurs, and more. I also host #AskSkylerLive, where I answer three audience submitted questions on a wide range of subjects live on Facebook.
In 2017, I launched RenzlerMedia with the mission to do for other businesses what I have been doing for mine over the years: dominate in the areas that competitors were overlooking, rather than try and outspend them in the areas they have already dominated.
